Interactive Designer

Our dynamic marketing and technology agency is growing quickly. We’re looking to add an experienced, full-time interactive designer to our creative team. The model candidate will have at least three (3) years of web design experience with advanced skills in HTML/CSS and user-centered design best practices. Higher education is required with at least 2 years of college coursework. A BA/BS is highly desired, but not required. Background in online marketing is strongly preferred.

The Web Designer must be able to work in a team atmosphere and possess a positive, can-do attitude. The ideal candidate will have creative talent while remaining flexible, reliable, and focused during both basic and complex creative projects. The candidate must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to detail and meeting required deadlines.

Core Responsibilities include:

  • Works closely with the Creative Director to create and implement projects by designing, creating, and executing assets for traditional and online marketing materials. Examples include but are not limited to HTML emails, landing pages, micro sites, web sites, blogs, direct mail, corporate identities, print and banner advertisements, etc.
  • Generate creative ideas for client projects and deliver imaginative comps. Must be able to perform research and find relevant stock photos, and offer relevant ideas and suggestions during brainstorming sessions and other portions of the project cycle.
  • Employ user-centered design techniques and design best practices to promote positive online user experience.

Requirements:

  • At least two (2) years of higher education
  • Advanced understanding of web design best practices, including usability, user-centered design, information architecture, and interface/navigation design
  • Technical proficiency and a substantive knowledge of CSS and XHTML
  • Skills in ASP .NET, Flash, PHP and Video Editing are a PLUS
  • Must possess a positive attitude and a positive outlook (no half-empty glasses welcome)

Account Coordinator

Our dynamic marketing and technology agency is looking for a full-time Account Coordinator (AC) to join the team immediately. The AC will serve as support for client projects/delivery, research, marketing planning and administrative functions as directed by an Account Director (AD), Account Manager and Client.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Must be well-organized
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people
  • Professional appearance and persona
  • Provide customer service and administrative support to the Account Director and staff
  • Assists with marketing, advertising and SEO/SEM research
  • Assists the AD and Production Team with coordination, timelines and budgets of client projects
  • May work with some clients directly to service their needs and requests
  • Must be able to work under tight deadlines
  • Check the status of each client's job(s) in the creative department and verify the jobs will be complete on time
  • Initiate new jobs for the client
  • Communicate the client's feedback to the creative department and discuss the next steps in the campaign

Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years of marketing experience, preferably in an agency setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications is required
  • Knowledge of interactive marketing best practices and prior interactive experience is a plus
  • SEO knowledge and experience is an advantage

    Additionally, we are seeking candidates with the following:

    • Strong verbal and written communications abilities
    • Strong commitment to being a part of a project team
    • Very strong time and project management skills
    • Ability to work independently once given direction
    • Understanding of MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
