Educationally-Minded CEO Joins College Advisory Committee

Tampa, Florida – March 9th, 2010 – Michael Westafer, CEO of Roger West Creative and Code, an interactive marketing and technology agency, has joined the advisory board committee for the International Academy of Design & Technology Online. The advisory board committee is responsible for advising the Academy of industry trends and changes, and volunteer to serve as program specific technical advisors. Michael Westafer will be providing oversight of the Associate of Science in Web Design and Development, Bachelor of Science in Web Design and Development, and Bachelor of Science in Internet Marketing.

Michael Westafer has served as an adjunct instructor at the International Academy of Design and Technology and other local colleges. As a former educator, Michael Westafer based his teachings on real world examples in classes such as web programming, design and portfolio. “Technology is changing the industry so fast, and I want to make sure students are current and equipped with the techniques and skills valuable to today’s business,” says Michael Westafer. “These are my future employees, and I don’t think anyone would protest a more talented workforce.”
